About Derbygirl

2009 Wicked Pissah Photo

I've been playing roller derby since 2007. They call me Mona Mour, I wear #214, and I skate for the Wicked Pissahs, of the Boston Derby Dames. I am also the co-captain of the Boston B-Party, Boston's traveling JV squad. I used to skate with Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls, as a Slaughter Scout and a Flatliner (Bloomington, IN).

You can also find me blogging about roller derby for Skirt! magazine.

Innocent times. :( (via michaelikesit:siddman:corley)
This was the first real adult (okay, at least semi-adult) television series I can ever remember watching, and I was probably too young to even fully understand this show until I watched it all again later. Twenty years ago the series began, isn’t that crazy? I always had the biggest crush on Winnie Cooper. She was so… everything. Too bad Kevin never got it quite right with her though. They never married, no?

Nope, they never did. The show ended with a flash forward where Kevin had married someone else. Wish they’d release the DVDs, but they just can’t get the rights to all that fantastic music!
